In El Tejar, we aim at fostering Opportunity by favoring the ability to learn, on the one side, and the access to education, on the other.

The first goal can only be reached by well-nourished children, food is essential to learning. That is why we support initiatives that are focused at fighting hunger working together with with CONIN Foundation (“Cooperative for Children´s Nutrition"), Red Argentina de Bancos de Alimentos (Argentine Network of Food Banks) and Solidagro in Argentina; and Soya y Vida (Soybean and Life) in Bolivia.  

Regarding access to education, we promote equality of opportunities contributing to the rural children education and stimulating digital teaching of basic literacy for poor people, through scholarships agreements with educational institutions, such as CFR Saladillo, Escuela Salesiana de Del Valle, Universidad de San Andrés and Escuela CDI of Saladillo; in Argentina, and the Instituto Muyurina, in Bolivia.

We also encourage values-related education among the children of the EL TEJAR’s workers through the Project “Scholarships for Our Children”.
